Can Couples Paraglide at the Same Time?

Yes, couples can usually book tandem paragliding for the same session, but they do not fly together in one tandem wing. Each passenger needs a separate qualified pilot, wing and harness system. The two flights may take off close together and fly in the same general area when conditions and launch logistics permit, but exact simultaneous takeoff and side-by-side flight cannot be guaranteed.

Why two pilots and two wings are required

A tandem paraglider carries one pilot and one passenger. Two passengers cannot share the passenger position. A couple booking therefore requires two complete teams and enough equipment and transport capacity. Book both passengers in one transaction so the operator can plan pilot assignments, weights, package choice and launch order together.

Will we take off at exactly the same time?

The pilots may coordinate the sequence, but only one team may launch at a time when the space or conditions require it. A short gap is normal. The priority is a clean launch, not a synchronized photograph. If wind changes, one flight may be delayed or the order may change — the team explains this before preparation.

Can we see each other in the air?

Often the pilots can remain in the same broad flying area, but safe spacing, lift, route and landing traffic come first. Do not expect guaranteed side-by-side flight or guaranteed mutual photographs. Ask the pilots whether they can capture each other from a safe position when conditions allow.

Couples photo and video package

A package combining each passenger's individual footage with shared preparation and landing photographs creates a complete record of the shared experience. Label the files clearly and deliver them through one booking album. A short edited highlight video can be a valuable anniversary, honeymoon or proposal add-on. Any surprise plan must be discussed privately with the operator and must not interfere with safety instructions.

What if one person is nervous?

Choose a package that suits the more cautious passenger, or allow each person to choose a different package if the schedule permits. The nervous passenger should speak directly with the assigned pilot. Never pressure a partner into flying — the company's customer-cancellation terms should be clear before the activity day.

Booking tips for couples

Provide both weights accurately, use one contact phone, book near the beginning of the holiday and keep the session flexible. Tell the operator if the booking marks an anniversary, honeymoon or other occasion so the team can prepare an appropriate non-disruptive touch.

For more than two passengers, use the group-booking form because the flight may require rotations.

Frequently asked questions

Can two passengers fly with one pilot?

No. A standard tandem setup is designed for one pilot and one passenger.

Can we hold hands in the air?

No. The two wings must maintain safe separation and each passenger remains secured in a separate harness.

Can one person book a longer flight?

Potentially, but different packages may finish at different times or locations. Confirm the plan before payment.

What if only one of us decides to fly?

The normal customer-cancellation terms apply unless the operator agrees to modify the booking.

Can a proposal happen during the flight?

Discuss it with the operator in advance. Any plan must be simple, secured and approved by the pilots.
